Past Trips:
Bali-Lombok (2025)
In September, we spent two weeks travelling through Indonesia on our biggest trip so far. The Bali–Lombok Surf Adventure was built around good waves, exploring multiple islands, and sharing the experience with a seriously good group of people. It felt like a natural step up for the camp, and a full-circle moment after first travelling Southeast Asia solo years ago.
Trip Highlights:
- 6 coached surf sessions in Lombok with local instructors — including one who taught Liv to surf three years ago — chasing the best conditions at reef breaks.
- Snorkelling in crystal-clear water, white-sand beaches, waterfalls, cultural tours, and motorbike road trips around one of the three islands we explored.
- Our own stunning villas throughout the trip, with endless swimming pool games and evenings out.
Vibes
This trip was adventurous, exciting, and never repetitive. Days flowed between surf sessions, exploring new places, and laughing like best mates. It’s genuinely hard to put into words how good this group was — people arrived solo and left as proper friends, already talking about future trips together.

Everything was organised; trips out, gorgeous accommodation, surf lessons and transfers between! Such an amazing group of people too — sad to be home but looking forward to future trips.”

Cornwall (2024)
Over the summer of 2024, we hosted four sold-out camping trips in stunning Peranporth, Cornwall. These trips became the perfect mix of surf, adventure and social vibes, attracting adventurous solo travellers from all over the UK looking to meet like-minded people and enjoy an unforgettable weekend.
Trip Highlights:
- Surf Sessions each morning, tailored for all levels. Beginner surfers took lessons with local surf instructors, while the experienced surfers paddled out back together.
- Afternoons spent exploring Cornwall’s stunning coastline, grabbing famous Cornish pasties out and playing beach games like volleyball, rounders, and spikeball on some of the region’s most stunning beaches.
- Visits to secret gems like Pedn Vounder Beach, featuring turquoise waters and breathtaking cliffs.
- Evenings spent around the campfire, sharing stories, laughs, and good vibes over card games and marshmallows.
Each trip featured its own unique highlights:
- Fireworks on the cliffs of Land’s End, creating a magical final night for one trip.
- A fun silent disco at the campsite to get ya groove on.
- Hilarious fancy-dress pub crawl for the lighthearted fun after the adventurous day
Vibes
These Weekends offered a balance of surf-filled mornings, adventurous afternoons, and social, relaxed evenings. Whether you were chasing waves, exploring hidden beaches, or laughing by the campfire, every trip was designed to connect you with others and create lasting memories.
Ericeira, Portugal (October 2024)
In October we ventured to Ericeria, Portugal, the surf capital of Europe, for our first-ever international surf trip. This unforgettable weekend was packed with incredible surfing, sightseeing, and wholesome villa vibes.
Trip Highlights:
- Surfing sessions at iconic beaches including Foz do Lizandro and Prai de Coxos
- Afternoons filled with beach games
- Evenings spent with wholesome dinner, drinks, and card games at the villa, after watching sunset overlooking the coast from the balcony.
- Night hanging out at the Quiksilver skatepark for live music and drinks
- Day exploring Lisbon, the capital city, wandering the vibrant streets and historic landmarks.
Vibes
Mornings began with breakfast at the villa—buffets prepared by our hosts or pancakes made together by guests. Each day, we surfed at different beaches, chasing the best waves. Afternoons were free to explore Ericeira’s charming cobbled streets or join group activities, like a spontaneous game of padel. Evenings were laid-back and wholesome, spent playing cards over dinner at the villa or enjoying the vibrant local bars. It was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and connection in one of Europe’s most beautiful surf destinations.
South Wales Adventure (2024)
In summer 2024, we hosted a wholesome camping trip to the stunning coastline of South Wales.
Trip Highlights:
- Morning surf sessions on clean, consistent waves, with everyone refining their skills on the pristine conditions.
- Cliff jumping at the famous Blue Lagoon, an exhilarating experience in one of Wale’s most iconic spots.
- Paddle-boarding in the calm waters, taking in the breathtaking coastal views.
- Day trip exploring beaches southern of our campsite for beach games and pizza in the local cute town surrounded by one of the largest cathedrals.
Vibes
This camping trip is all about adventure and connection with like-minded people. Our trips are active, yet wholesome, making our trips so special. Whether it was jumping into water in the Blue Lagoon, catching clean surf waves, or unwinding with good company, this trip was about enjoying the best South Wales has to offer with a great group of people.
2023: The Year It All Began
2023 was the first year we officially launched Liv’s Surf Camp, and it all started with a simple idea: to find new friends who wanted to surf together. When I first reached out on Facebook, I had no idea what to expect—but the response was overwhelming. What began as a small idea quickly turned into something much bigger, with people from all over joining to share unforgettable adventures.
That year, we hosted four sold-out camping trips—three in Cornwall and one in South Wales. South Wales was our biggest trip ever, with 36 like-minded people coming together for an unforgettable weekend. Despite Wales’ unique weather challenges (a storm tested even the sturdiest of tents!), we bonded over an escape room, card games, and a hidden gem beach hike to a stunning coastal spot. The fancy dress evening, with a sports theme, brought tennis players, boxers, and lots of laughs.
Cornwall’s trips were just as magical, with guests bringing everything from campervans to brand-new tents for their first-ever camping weekend. This was the year we introduced silent disco nights and fancy dress pub crawls, keeping things chill and fun, with unforgettable sunsets and wholesome vibes.
Looking back, 2023 was where it all started—just an idea to meet surf friends that grew into a community of adventurers creating lifelong memories. Now, two years later, we’re finding new ways to keep the trips alive and even better than before.
