  • Roll-mat or airbed
  • Sleeping bag or duvet
  • Head torch for the evenings
  • Warm clothes (evenings can get chilly)

Van’s are welcome too! We’re all on non-electric pitches so we can be together.

Surf Lessons & Board Hire

Whether you’re a complete beginner, need a refresher, or just need to hire gear, we’ve got you covered.

  • Bring Your Own — If you’ve got your own board and wetsuit, feel free to bring them along!
  • Surf Lessons — If you’re new to surfing or it’s been a while, you can join a 2.5hr surf lesson with the local legends at Surfing Croyde Bay. You can book 2 lessons for the entire weekend for £80, including all the gear!
  • Hire — If you know how to surf but just need to hire, here are your options:
    • Soft-top board — £36 for 2 days
    • Wetsuits — £24 for 2 days

Basically, whether you’re learning to surf, brushing up, or just need gear, you’re covered!

Food & Drink

We keep things laid-back and flexible when it comes to food — so you can do as much (or as little) as you like!

  • Breakfast — Do your own thing for breakfast, ideally a light breakfast pre surf.
  • BBQ Night — Included! We’ll be firing up the BBQ for a proper feast together at camp.
  • Fish & Chips — As soon as we’ve settled in and pitched our tents up, we’ll head down to the beach for fish & chips with the group — the perfect way to kick off the trip!
  • Lunches — We’ll be heading to Cafe Croyde for a good brunch on Saturday morning, and grabbing a pasty from the bakery on Sunday, feel free to stick together or do your own thing for lunch.

Basically you can keep it simple or go all out, your call!

Group Size and Minimum Age

Our trips are capped at 20 people, which we’ve found is the perfect number! Over the last couple of summers, we’ve hosted surf trips with a range of group sizes, and 20 strikes the best balance — big enough to meet loads of new people but still small enough to keep things personal, inclusive, and wholesome.

With 20 people, there’s a solid mix of solo travellers and friends, and you’ll quickly find your new mates — whether it’s in the surf, over a beach game, or around the campfire. It also means we keep things flexible while making sure everyone gets the most out of the trip.

If you’re 18 or older, love outdoor adventures, surfing and meeting like-minded people, you’ll fit right in!

How to Get There & Car Shares

Most people drive to the campsite and pick up others on the way. We’ll sort out car shares in the WhatsApp chat before the trip, so you’ll always have someone to travel with!

Arrival time is 1930 Friday, so plan to get there around then.

  • Driving — If you’re driving, just head straight to CherryTree Farm Campsite, What3words ///sunflower.having.dime. You’ll be able to find parking at our camping area. We’ll share in the WhatsApp chat our exact location and what to look out for.
  • Taking the Train — If you’re coming by train, the closest station is Barnstaple Station. You can car share from there (we’ll sort this in the groupchat) or take the bus to the campsite.

Let me know if you need help with any travel plans!
